Mount Dobson has a lot to offer as you can see below. And we’re constantly striving to improve our facilities and our service to you. Two seasons ago we installed a triple chair in the west valley - Come and enjoy the ride.

ACCESS

Mt Dobson has one of the easiest access roads in the country.  15 KM long and maintained to a high standard it is suitable for both buses and motorhomes. When chains are required they may be hired from the Ski Shack in Fairlie,

8 qualified instructors under the direction of Jane Stevens offer private and group lessons for skiers and snowboarders at all levels.

SKI HIRE

We have 300 sets of skis on mountain, including carving skis. We also have 50 snowboards available and protective equipment such as wrist guards. We also have a limited range of clothing for hire.

Relax in our cafeteria. Hot drinks, hot food, and confectionery are all available

GROOMING

Two Kassborher groomers regularly groom the main trails for the safety and enjoyment for skiers and boarders

ACCOMMODATION

Stay in Fairlie, 26km from our car park, a picturesque rural township in the heart of South Canterbury. Fairlie offers warm hospitality and a great choice of outdoor recreation activities.with a pop of approx 800.
